Background
I was born in Seinäjoki in 1967. I grew up and completed my schooling in Oulunsalo, Kempele and Oulu, before moving to Järvenpää in 1990. The previous year I served on a UN crisis management mission, and active reservist service has remained a cornerstone of my adult life. Sipoo has been my home municipality for the past 18 years.

Entrepreneur
Upon returning to Finland, I founded my first company at the age of 22 — a business that is still actively operating today. Since 1990, I have worked continuously as an entrepreneur in the restaurant industry, event management, real estate brokerage, and as an investor for more than three decades. I am truly a long-distance entrepreneur.

In Politics
A realistic conservative and an experienced decision-maker. I am serving my second term as a municipal councillor in Sipoo and currently chair the Technical Committee. For the 2025–2028 term in the Eastern Uusimaa regional council, I serve as a deputy member of the Preparedness and Security Committee.

More broadly in politics, I stand for the residents of Uusimaa and the Helsinki metropolitan area and advocate for transparent decision-making. I promote policies that make Uusimaa a better place to live, work and do business.

As a Person
A doer. I value openness, fairness, honesty and leadership by example. I dislike micromanagement. I am a team player and a predictable leader. I have the ability to inspire people.

Sustainable Development
I advocate for sustainable development and renewable and alternative energy solutions. My personal goal is to achieve independence in heating, mobility and housing energy. While reaching that goal may not be immediate, the journey continues.
